The lack of positive evidence for the existence of something is not logically equivalent to evidence against its existence. Neither does a lack of archaeological evidence for camels in the time of Abraham prove the Bible to be a bunch of lies.

The money gotten by the unrighteous person will be used by that person in such a way that it brings about sin, whereas the income gained by a righteous person will be used in such a way that it brings about “life” in the fullest sense.

Wealth acts as a protective barrier between the wealthy man and the difficulties of life. On the other hand, poverty puts a poor man in difficult situations without any kind of protective barrier. In order to survive, the poor man often has to resort to solutions that have regrettable lasting effects that keep the poor man poor.

A wise man treats knowledge as a kind of commodity that can be stored away for a rainy day and which provides stability in lean times. It prevents ruin. The fool, on the other hand, is always near to ruin because of his mouth.

Wise people listen to the words of wise people and acquire wisdom thereby. Foolish people, on the other hand, are incapable of acquiring wisdom by any means other than the rod of correction.
